We’re approaching the end of my top 10 list of favorite movie music. Today I’ll share number 3 and number 2. One is another John Williams score. The other is a little more “classical”.
Number 3 on the list is the music from one of my all-time favorite movies, Amadeus. I love Mozart’s music…all of it, and my favorite piece is Requiem.
Number 2 is, in my opinion, the most beautiful piece of music John Williams has ever written. It is the theme from Schindler’s List. The performance seen/heard here is by the incomparable Itzhak Perlman. I think great music can be “felt”, and you can feel the pain and suffering through this piece. I get chills each time I hear the haunting melody.
